Season Wrap Up!
Hi team, one last message from me! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! These last 2 years as head coach of the Barracudas have been very special to me and something I never saw coming. I consider myself so lucky to have this experience and hope to have had a positive impact on not only the team as a whole but hopefully on each of your kids lives. As I stated last night (for anyone who was not in attendance) I will be taking a step back from being the head coach in order to prioritize my family. This has been one of the tougher decisions I have had to make considering how much I enjoyed being a part of the Ballantyne swim family. Moving forward assistant coach Davis Hull will be stepping into the head coaching role which is going to be amazing for our team! His knowledge and passion for swim will be perfect to take the team to new heights in the future.
Trophies: If you were unable to attend, trophies and ribbons will be displayed near the front desk at the FAC for pickup for the next week or 2, please grab them when you have a chance.
Member/Staff Golf Tournament: On Monday, July 28th the club will be hosting a golf tournament that will feature teams comprised of members and staff. I will be playing and would love to team up with several of you! If you would like to play, you can sign up through the golf shop and request to play with me. All proceeds from this event go toward the Employee Assistance Fund which has done an amazing job over the last year to provide financial support for staff going through hardship or to promote further education for staff who are unable to afford it.
Thank you again for everything! I will still be here at the FAC serving in my role as Assistant Director so I look forward to seeing you all around!
